22nd November, Sunday, 4pm: A fun filled mehendi

To usher in the celebrations, we start off with the colourful mehendi ceremony! The mehendi signifies positivity, good luck and it’s medicinal properties are said to de-stress.
They say, the darker the colour of the mehendi, the more the husband loves his wife! Let’s see how much Mayur loves Dishitha?
Attire suggestion: Indian attire in vibrant colours of green, yellow, pink, purple!
Venue: Poolside Lawn, Lalith Ashok, Kumarakrupa Rd, opposite Golf Club, High Grounds, Seshadripuram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001

24th November, Tuesday, 6pm: It’s going to be a long night!

Baraat 6pm - the groom arrives with great pomp and show, accompanied by his family and friends, to be welcomed, with love and grandeur, by the bride’s family!
This will be followed by the haldi ceremony from 8-9pm. The haldi/turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom to detoxify them, to bring out the blissful glow and to ward off evil!
We break for dinner after which we start with the Banjara pre wedding traditions. Come witness the age old tradition of the Banjara wedding.
Attire suggestion: the brides family will be dressed true to their tradition in the Banjara outfit i.e - colourful lehenga embellished with mirrors, ghungroos and old 25p coins. We suggest you keep up with the mirror work theme and bright colours
